Print experimentation…

Some images I produced as print experimentation for a project on number. I was experimenting with intaglio, linoprint and screen print and using imagery representative of cells. I was also playing around with layering and repetition.

Penguin Classic Cover

For a project at Uni we had to choose a penguin classic and re-design the cover and inside flaps.

I chose Alice in Wonderland as it was a childhood favourite and used paper cut illustration to create the images for my book cover. It was then all edited and manipulated in illustrator and Photoshop.

What do you think?!

Intaglio Printing

Series of three intaglio prints I produced whilst on my Foundation year just as an experiment with intaglio printing and colour. I do love this process of producing prints as I think you can get amazing results and I love the handmade quality to them.

Something New…

Series of images I created as an outcome for a short summer project that explored my daily life and routines. I always have the same haircut so I decided I would go and get a fringe cut in and this was my documentation of that showing how I felt about the change…(it was a bad change!!)

These were my final 6 images for my Sequential Illustration Project at uni. We had to create a protagonist and then a sequence of 5 images each including this protagonist.

I used lino print and collage.

I have uploaded the images in order so please enjoy and let me know what you think!
